Your personal renters' insurance ensures that your belongings inside of your apartment are protected. It also provides coverage in the case that an accident that you cause affects your neighbor’s apartment.
HOW DO YOU OBTAIN RENTERS INSURANCE?
Renters insurance is as easy to set up as your car insurance policy is, and most insurance companies will often bundle car and renters’ insurance together to make one easy monthly payment. Especially when bundled like this, your renters insurance should be of minimal cost to you– usually around $10 to $15 a month, or a couple hundred dollars for the whole year.
